I checked Madrid Stock Exchange 's website and found out that it was established in 1831 (during the time Philippines was still under Spain). I'm just curious if anyone knows if there are Spanish stock brokerage firms that offer their services in colonial Philippines to trade Spanish stocks?
If so, here are my follow up questions:
How much was the minimum investment required to open an account?
How much was the commission that the brokers' charge?
Which Spanish securities firm(s) was popular during that time (similar to popularity of COL Financial today)?
