Produced by Tamashii Nations, Bandai’s toymaking division, Figuarts ZERO is a line of statues crafted from PVC with attention to detail to fan-favorite characters. The ZERO label refers to the “zero articulation” or lack of movable joints as opposed to the S.H. Figuarts line.
However, Figuarts ZERO proves that a figure doesn’t need movable joints to appear dynamic. It makes up for it with detachable accessories and special effects, helping bring static poses to life. Want to see Nezuko unleashing her Blood Demon Arts? Or perhaps Zoro letting loose with Yakkodori may be your cup of tea? Figuarts ZERO statues let you show them in stunning detail.
High-quality Figuarts ZERO statues take time to make and ship, but when they arrive, hardly anyone gets disappointed by their craftsmanship. Check out our top ten picks and see if any of them strikes your fancy.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Tengen Uzui FiguartsZERO Statue
1. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Tengen Uzui (in stock)
One of the heroes of the Entertainment District story arc, Tengen Uzui shows his mastery of the Sound Breathing style in his Figuarts ZERO statue. Adding to the battle readiness of his stance is his trademark pair of chained Nichirin cleavers that are reminiscent of nunchucks.
The flamboyant Tengen is one of the most powerful of the Hashira in terms of physical strength. He used his strength to good use during the battle in the entertainment district arc, where he teamed up with other Demon Slayers to take down the Upper Moon Six duo Daki and Gyutaro.
Demon Slayer Nezuko Kamado Blood Demon Art FiguartsZERO Statue
2. Demon Slayer Nezuko Kamado Blood Demon Art (in stock)
The Figuarts ZERO statue of Tanjiro’s demon sister stands 9.5 inches tall, including the flame stand that represents her Blood Demon Art. It portrays her in her ruthless awakened form, a far cry from the petite build and gentle demeanor that fans have come to adore.
Despite losing her human body, Nezuko hasn’t lost her humanity. Her awakening has saved her Demon Slayer brother and her friends from trouble countless times, if not turned the tide of long odds in their favor. Ironically, she remains the only demon member of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Chainsaw Man FiguartsZERO Statue
3. Chainsaw Man (coming October 2023)
This unholy fusion of Denji and his chainsaw dog Pochita strikes a ferocious pose atop a trail of blood and guts. The figure captures the essence of his violent struggles against the various devils, one of which is the three chainsaws he has for a head and arms.
The iconic figure for the Chainsaw Man series is Denji’s hybrid form, no longer human but short of being a fully-fledged devil. With enhanced strength, endurance, and stamina, he can hack and slash every devil foolish enough to stand in his way.
Dragon Ball Z Janemba FiguartsZERO Extra Battle Statue
4. Dragon Ball Z Janemba Extra Battle (coming March 2024)
For a blast from the past, there’s this statue of the evil incarnate Janemba, the antagonist in the 1995 film Dragon Ball Z: Revival Fusion. The strict attention to detail extends down to his red skin tone under his purple armor and his dastardly grin.
Calling him Janemba may be a misnomer, as this form is actually called Super Janemba. In the film, Janemba first appears as a huge, yellow blob, only forced to transform into Super Janemba to counter Goku already in Super Saiyan 3.
Jujutsu Kaisen Sukuna FiguartsZERO Statue
5. Jujutsu Kaisen Sukuna (in stock)
This Figuarts ZERO statue shows the King of Curses in his sadistic glory, sitting on his throne of human and beast skulls. The arms and head can be swapped out to show two expressions: one of relishing in human suffering and one of annoyance.
Throughout his thousand-plus-year life, Sukuna has remained undefeated. The mere mention of his name instilled dread among people and other jujutsu sorcerers, notably during the Heian Era. Even without consuming all 20 fingers, he can dispatch powerful enemies with ease.
Jujutsu Kaisen Yuji Itadori FiguartsZERO Statue
6. Jujutsu Kaisen Yuji Itadori (in stock)
Speaking of Sukuna, it’s hard to talk about the man without talking about his host: Yuji Itadori. His Figuarts ZERO statue captures the moment he unleashes his Black Flash, a space-distorting attack so powerful that he can only use it four times in a row.
Yuji is the opposite of the sadistic king residing in him, valuing the life of his friends and other humans. His penchant for risking his life for others stems from his grandfather’s words about dying surrounded by others. Naturally, Sukuna finds this amusing.
One Piece Momonosuke Kouzuki Twin Dragons FiguartsZERO Statue
7. One Piece Momonosuke Kozuki Twin Dragons (coming January 2024)
The next two items are dragons that have some beef between them. First, Momonosuke Kozuki’s dragon form features a vibrant splash of pink scales and yellow mane. The statue has him riding on a dark grey cloud. It includes a miniature Yamato figure on top of the dragon’s head.
Momonosuke’s dragon form is a result of eating an artificial copy of a Devil Fruit, namely the one eaten by his enemy Kaido. But instead of Kaido’s blue and black, the artificial Devil Fruit colored Momonosuke’s dragon form pink and yellow.
One Piece Kaido King of the Beasts Twin Dragons FiguartsZERO Extra Battle Statue
8. One Piece Kaido King of the Beasts Twin Dragons (coming December 2023)
If you’re getting Momonosuke, it’d be a great idea to pick up the King of the Beasts as well to do the Twin Dragons label justice. At nearly a foot tall, his Figuarts ZERO statue manifests his sheer size and ferocity. The statue includes a miniature Straw Hat Luffy silhouette for size comparison.
Living up to his title, Kaido is a beast of a pirate. He and Luffy have clashed several times, with the former winning every time. The bounty on his head is the third highest in the story so far at over 4.6 billion berries, only out-bountied by Whitebeard and Gol D. Roger.
Naruto Shippuden Kakashi Hatake Susanoo Kizuna Relation FiguartsZERO Action Figure
9. Naruto Shippuden Kakashi Hatake Susanoo (coming September 2023)
There’s never a dull moment in the world of Naruto, and Kakashi’s one-time ability to summon Susanoo is proof of this. This figure is part of Kizuna Relation, a sub-line of figures under the Figuarts ZERO name that places emphasis on close bonds.
Summoning a Susanoo is only possible through exhibiting the Mangekyo Sharingan in both eyes. Despite the latter being exclusive to only the Uchiha clan, Kakashi managed to perform this feat after receiving Obito’s powers. He lost this ability with Obito’s death.
Dragon Ball Z Super Saiyan Trunks Figuarts Zero Extra Battle Statue
10. Dragon Ball Z Super Saiyan Trunks Extra Battle (restocking soon)
How about a figure that relives one of the most iconic moments in anime history? This Figuarts ZERO statue depicts Super Saiyan Trunks using his Shining Sword Attack against Mecha Frieza. Their facial expressions also match the scene.
This fight happened in Episode 120 of Dragon Ball Z titled “Another Super Saiyan?” Trunks and Frieza, both from alternate timelines, engage in a fight that ends with the iconic slash. The show depicts Trunks slicing and dicing Frieza before incinerating the latter’s remains.
Takeaway
It’s easy to forget the moments that made us passionate about an awesome scene or fall in love with a character. The Figuarts ZERO line can help with that, due in no small part to its detailed construction, detachable accessories, and special effects.
