I’ve pretty much never played a 2D fighting game ever, and I’m starting with MvC2.

I’ve never really been able to get into fighting games, but I figured MvC2 would be a good starting point. My issue is that I’m not really sure to start with it. Right now I’m screwing around in Training Mode and seeing which characters I like. I’m also looking to grab Skullgirls down the line for more 2D fighter goodness. Is there anything to really know as a green fighting game player?
