I discovered what annoys me in Mortal Kombat 1 (Gameplaywise)

Are they loop combos? My God, when I face a SubZero and make the mistake of getting stunned, I'm done for. The combo seems never-ending. Well, I'm a beginner, so I hope to deal with it better as I learn to play.
However, as this is not making me very happy, I'm seriously considering going back to Mortal Kombat 11 or investing in Tekken 8.
Putting my rant aside, what do you think about this topic? Is Tekken 8 worth it, or is Mortal Kombat 11 still a valid choice to return to?
