Post Body

The 17yo youth academy product made his debut as a sub in the 55th minute, coming on for the injured Ross Stewart after he gave Sunderland a 1-0 lead.

Harvey, a left footer, played on the LW of Kent’s 4-4-2. He gave a lot of effort and had some promising runs in behind.

After a flying start under Kent’s leadership beginning in November, Sunderland have stumbled in December. They climbed the table from 20th to 12th in November, but a condensed fixure list around boxing day saw they drop to 15th in the table, 12 points behind a Playoff spot.

Longterm injuries to key players such as Stewart and Pritchard have sparked Sunderland ownership to targer reinforcements. A week into the January window, and rumor has it Sunderland are targeting a first choice Left Back, a winger and possibly a Center Midfielder to bolster the second half push for the playoffs!
