Post Body

On November 6th, Sunderland were sitting 20th in the Championship and trending downward, fast. A change needed to happen. Owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus the Sunderland board needed to act fast. They looked to within.

Current U18’s coach Roy Kent was called up. Kent is former Sunderland youth player, Chelsea star and AFC Richmond assistant. Kent was brought up with one job in mind, push these players with his no no nonsense approach to the game.

Three matches into his interim tenure, Kent has three wins on the trot and Sunderland moving up table, sitting in 12th at the end of November. Can Kent push Sunderland into the Promotion Playoffs come the end of the season?
