Playing FIFA 23, player career as a striker on PS5.

If I play on World Class, I win every game by a ton of goals and score easily. If I increase sliders or go to Legendary my team never touches the ball and I lose by 4-5 goals every time. My defense has given up 80 goals in 25 games. Adjusting sliders does nothing - midfielders don't drop back and defenders stand around. There are games when my teammates actually cannot complete a pass. The opponent gets the ball and I don't get it back until they score or miss. I've had teammates pass the ball straight to opponents over and over again or misplay easy passes that lead straight to an opponent goal. Short corners lead to a shot every time for the opponent and R1 closing the timer runs out before a defender can get out there.

I want something more realistic, 1-0, 2-1 games where it's actually even not just slamming a million goals. And I can't play controlling the whole team because then your player gets subbed off at 55' every single time so just looking for some help. I don't mind losing game, but when I get smoked 5-0 every time through no fault of my own like I pass to a midfielder and he spins around and kicks it straight to the opponent 10 times a game it drives me nuts.
