Am I doomed? Or can this be saved?

Hey all,
Sorry if this is not the place to post this. But I am looking for advice/tips regarding my long hair journey. I’m 31 and wanted to grow my hair out before it’s too late. I noticed a picture of me taken over Easter and the top of my head looked awful. This is from today. Am I doomed to grow my hair out with the top of my head looking like this? Any tips to get this to be fuller? Any advice/tips/warnings are welcome and appreciated.
