unpaid M$ Teams training

I have a ticket to swap a printer. It's a no-brainer and the pay is meh. Today out of the blue I get a phone call and email telling me that I must attend a mandatory unpaid 1 hour teams meeting ast 1 PM today for training. Sorry boys, I have shit to do. I responded that I was unavailable but can read run books etc in my free time or we can do 9 PM local time. Now I'm getting threats and general whining from the buyer. How do other techs reply to surprise mandatory unpaid training?
