I countered a $125 flat ticket with blended at $195 for the first 2 hours then 85 for the next 2 and the buyer accepted the counter. Once on site, the store was not expecting me and I was initially turned away. Help desk had me hang around while they tried to sort it out but after 35 minutes ttos, I was released. I did not take the revisit ticket. 25 days later, the buyer is paying me $62 because of this clause in theirs terms "Cancellation when tech arrives on site in the first hour: 50% to the tech " and they insist that 50% of the original 125 flat fee. Predictably FN says "not my problem. please rate my support 5 starts" I expected half of my $195
How do you structure a counter to take into account cancellation clauses like this one? I'm afraid the only protection from being shafted like this is to reject tickets with these cancellation clauses.
