mobile (c)App issues that supports says is PEBKAC

is anyone else having issues with the mobile app saying "unable to connect to servers. retry."? Support said the issue was a problem on my end as the original issue was resolved a few weeks ago but I'm running into this roadblock on my brand new 2 day old phone on a 1gb/1gb connection. The webpage side takes 10 to 20 seconds to load or refresh on my laptop or phone but at least it connects
