The latest incarnation of the app is asking me to enable location constantly. If I want to use the "on my way" button, I have to enable GPS tracking. Since I am not under house arrest or supervised release I refuse to allow 24/7 location tracking by anyone. Going forward, "On My Way" is now a msg through the platform. I mistakenly enabled location services yesterday and I had a buyer call me asking why I stopped at Starbucks after I tapped "on my way". I was still 45 min before my start time and wanted coffee. He also complained about my accepted travel expense saying I was less than 5 miles from the site. The lines continue to blur. Some buyers think I'm an entry level employee or worse. Support says enabling location services is now a required term of service. Other than the constant nags, I don't see any change in the T&C. Sorry for the venting but really irritated by FN today.
