The MOD team has seen a higher level of bickering back and forth within the comments recently.
We have very few rules or try to get overly involved in general comments. It's totally fine to have even express extreme despairingly different opinions on a subject. Some levels of that type of communication can be healthy for both sides. But where it transitions from healthy communication, is when personal attacks, racism, sexism, homophobia or just being a plain ass hat is the focus of your comment.
Please post when your communication is positive and moves the conversation towards HELPING your fellow techs. Personal attacks serve no purpose and will get you a 7 day cooling off period.
If your opinion is so opposite of someone else's, try to educate them from your POV, experience or skill. OR, even be open to changing your own POV based on listening and being open.
Have fun here, there are some amazing techs that share a lot of valuable insights and history. We are in a stressful and challenging industry, be nice to each other.
