Possible scam call?

I got like 5 missed calls from this Fido number today (888) 481-3436. So the sixth call I decided to answer what’s up from Fido when I am already a customer. The moment I answered he wasn’t really energetic. I was the one that said “how can I help you”. He said “ do you speak Chinese? “ I said “no”. He immediately hung up on me. This is really weird. Did I just got a bad Chinese Fido customer rep or a scammer that used the Fido 1888 number and scam people ? Any exp ?
