Post Body

I bought this a month ago and reported it into a draining pot. I consider myself a pretty good plant caretaker but this has dropped half of its leaves since I got it. It’s in a sunny west facing room but 10-12 feet away from the window. I have watered it two times now. The leaves turn yellow and black then fall off. I know this indicates root rot but I just can’t understand how that’s possible. Is it just shocked by its new pot and new environment?
