Do you ever have old injuries that seem to ache more than other things?

Post Body

Hey all, laying in bed & trying to sleep but I have an old injury that just won't leave me alone and let me sleep. Mine is from when I used to run Cross Country in High School, mid-90s, I think I was 16 at the time. I had what they called "Runner's Hip" and there was no real fix for it other than to just stop running. I did fine in my younger years after that, but late-20s, it started being problematic and hurt more often. It eventually lead to the fact that my hip no longer stays in socket very well, aches when the temp drops and nights like this, where nothing seems to help. My usual fix is to go take a hot bath and soak in some Epsom salts but I don't feel like moving. I've gotten used to sleeping on my left side because the right has been such a mess for years but my left side is, starting to hate me for making it take the brunt of the work. It's never ending and l just want to sleep but my new insomnia meds just aren't kicking in.

It's just one of those nights you're in pain and it feels like you can't do anything to fix it. My husband would be happy to wake up and help me in any way I need, but both of us being tired won't help anyone..
