anyone else have trigger points?

i’ve got this point under my right shoulder blade where if i even move it wrong (or sometimes do nothing at all) entire area hurts for days. when i went to physical therapy, they told me it was a trigger point, but refused to explain what that meant or what to do about it. it’s different from my normal fibro pain because it’s always in that one specific place that isn’t a joint. anyone else experiencing something like this?
