I am 38, female, and was diagnosed this month with fibro and the rheumatologist suggested some different stuff to help. One of those things is hydrotherapy.
I did 12 weeks (twice a week) of regular physical therapy and it seemed to not really take. Did anyone see benefit from hydrotherapy? I am concerned with wasting more time and money, honestly.
She also suggested adding amitriptyline (already on fluoxetine and aripiprazole), but that remains to be seen if my psychiatrist is willing to prescribe it.
I am honestly scared and still trying to digest what this all means for my future.
