In my case there can be few options. One for sure is that I derailed after I got mono. Maybe also past amalgam fillings played role also because I got gilberts syndrome and MTHFR also so I'm poor detoxifier.

On my research over 10years also high glutamate levels and dowregulated dopamine receptors play role. Also lower activity of pituitary peripheral gland.

Over the years I tried pretty much evetything. The meds, peptides, probably every supplement/nootropic.

I'm off the meds for 5years because I was not a fan of zombified feeling on cymbalta and water retention of pregabalin. I think I even tried and paid massive money for LDN with so-so results.

The worst for me always was neurological symptoms, i was also on evaluation for multiple sclerosis as I had some small lesions in white matter of brain.

There are few things that works for me(like really works on daily basis): 1. Cordyceps Extract - 66% cordyceps sinesis mycelium and 34% cordyceps militaris fruting body by Oriveda. Only cordyceps extract that works for me fully. I tried like 4brands and this is by far most effective. Cordyceps is adaptogen and immunomodulator. This checked all boxes for fibro and upregulate D2 receptor.

Few more interesting studies:

Cordyceps is thought to bridge the gap between the hypothalamus, pituitary and adrenal glands and balance them. Promote BDNF and NGF.

This is by far most effective thing that I have ever tried! Taking it daily is MUST for me(2x450mg)!

I also felt I detox better on it.

  1. Creatine Monohydrate - 5grams a day, also creatine is great for MTHFR, ATP energy production and better stamina. My mild hypermobility is nonexisted after I started 5grams of Creatine daily, I take it first thing in morning.

  2. Bioactive Folate and b12 - gamechanger for energy, mood and neuro symptoms. Support for MTHFR.

  3. Working out with weights

  4. No gluten, sugar and alcohol

  5. Providing good sleep(taking one capsule of Neuromag(magnesium l-threonate) before sleep.

What I think also helps and taking sometimes is : - agmatine sulfate powder(I was always sceptical about this because arginine feeds ebv, this is metabolite of arginine and definetly works) - NAC for better detox.

Comments

I think it was having a horrendous recovery after an emergency c section. I lost nearly all my blood and had a blood clot in my lung. I was so ill and I've never recovered fully and my son is nearly 7. I think it was that and CPTSD. I don't just have ptsd as I've had multiple traumas in my life and I've constantly been in a state of hypervigilance and severe anxiety for 3 decades and my body couldn't do it anymore :(
