Hi just a question.
Ive had fibromyalgia since 2012. I have abnormally high sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein. My WBC is slightly elevated as well (All of these blood tested have been elevated since 2012). I’ve been to countless specialists and get last off.
I suffer from chronic pain, excessive daytime sleepiness, weight gain for no apparent reason. I’m sure more. However the pain is intensifying especially in my hips and spine ( shooting pain, burning and it’s constant) sometimes I can hardly walk around. I’m a 31 healthy female.
Went to rheumatology and he tested me for everything and all autoimmune disorders came back negative. He ordered a total body bone scan and it just showed osteoarthritis. He then sent me to infectious disease and they looked at me and literally said “why are you here? What does he want me to do?). She did no further testing.
The rheumatologist then called me and basically said yeah your stuff is really high and I don’t know why and I don’t know where to send you. He also said these inflammation markers could be high because of fibromyalgia which doesn’t seem to fit for how high they are.
Thoughts?
