I did 2 rounds of lupron, and they did an MRI to see if it shrunk them. I went to the gyno today to find out the results of my MRI. Doc said that she couldn't do my surgery laparoscopically, and she would have to do a vertical incision. So I went home and checked my MyChart. It says:
"The lower uterine segment demonstrates an anterior transmural heterogeneously enhancing mass measuring up to 6.9 cm in diameter. The uterine fundus demonstrates a couple transmural heterogeneously enhancing masses measuring 3.5 cm and 6.3 cm, the larger is centrally cystic or necrotic."
Now reading through this site, I have seen folks with 10cm getting laproscopic surgery. Is 6.9 too big for laparoscopic? Is it about placement? I am confused. Should I be seeking a second opinion?

Yeah. I think that that is probably the reason. She said something about my uterus being up at my belly button, which is why she didn't want to do the c cut. Maybe that is part of it.
She offered to answer any questions I have so, I may ask her and make a decision based on her answer.
