The itching has been pure torture! The instructions say not to scrub and touch the glue and the glue should come off on its own in 5 to 10 days. I've found that showering helps to calm the itchiness. When the itchiness is really bad then I take Benadryl and that helps after 30 minutes of taking the medication.

Itching was not something I was expecting after the surgery. If some of you guys are getting a surgery soon and you have issues with not scratching try to do some research on how to keep yourself from scratching and see what works for you. I'm not allowed to put lotion until the glue has come off. I hope my experience helps others.
