Is the daily live task gone for everyone?

I have not had a daily live task for over a week now. I have hard closed the game, even numerous times, as well as restarted the system (Series X). It just has the 24 hour timer, and then at 9am every morning, restarts the 24 hour timer, with no live task appearing there. Or, alternatively, am I dumb? Did I simply imagine there are supposed to be four live tasks, but the top row has always been just a generic timer?
