This isn't the first time I've had my period during a tournament, but I'd like to know if any fencers have suggestions for what to eat today and for breakfast tomorrow. I have bananas and clementines as my during-tournament snacks. I've been surprised at some of the fencers here saying bacon and eggs helps as a pre-tourney breakfast, as I'd think the fat would make you cramp up (I'm pescetarian anyway). Also, my anxiety has caused some appetite loss lately, so I'm wondering if that's just another wrench in this whole tournament plan or if it shouldn't be an issue.
