Fear of birth

I just wanted to say I had absolutely no idea how many people were scared of pregnancy and birth until I joined this sub. I'm a veterinarian and have helped birth many farm animals- it's actually one of my favorite calls. I'm so fascinated by birth I have considered becoming a doula as a retirement job.
So clearly my perspective is very different and I so appreciate learning about how other people feel. Thank you all for being open and sharing!
