I am comforted by this realization: People who are happy before children are generally pretty happy after children. People who were miserable before children are generally still miserable after children. The way you take on life in general tends to be the same way you take on parenting.

And the same goes for deciding not to have children. Becoming a parent just exaggerates everything. Higher highs and lower lows.

I agree, but not the everyone on that sub echoes those sentiments. There are plenty, like me, who love and enjoy children but simply donโt want some of their own. โฅ๏ธ
