Let’s be honest, the only women that showed out for us at the polls were black women. Don’t let this defeat knock us down. Don’t let the fear of being the underdog keep you quiet. We need strong women that don’t back down or lower their voice when massive groups of people disagree with us. The women that went down in history did not do so by agreeing with the way things were or backing out of the fight. They kept fighting. Now is the time to huddle together and support each other. Let’s educate the women in our lives about what’s going on, about how we’re being affected right now. A lot of women are just simply uneducated and are not aware. Together, we will protect women, we will empower women, and we will influence new generations of women.
