As a woman, speaking up is seen as yelling

Im fucking sick of this. Whenever I speak up, or try to be assertive, point out things that were wrong, defending myself, I always get the "calm down" "you're yelling" and many more forms of gaslighting, which drives me into a perpetual self doubt state. I use my normal tone of voice but hey, people seem to not like a woman's voice if it's not sweet and kind. Fuck that
