Shopping for Your Season-- HOW!?
Post Body

I've been tentatively typed as Bright Spring. I've been trying to shop for that palette and while I can sort of find things in store that work color wise, not a lot of it works with my romantic body type. Cue online shopping.

Not only is matching a garment to a fan, let alone my screenshot of the color palette (as I've yet to get draped professionally) a tall order when the garment is right in front of you... how do you manage this with a garment online?

Furthermore... in store makeup searching and online shopping... what do you do to match your cosmetics, since some shades may pull differently on you given your pigmentation and how the product may oxidize? I usually just google image search swatches and scroll forever to get a feel but even that's not foolproof.

I think once I get draped, I'll also book a wardrobe and shopping service as well as ordering a pre-made kit of makeup basics that I'm too afraid of getting wrong (red lip, nude lip, neutral eye, blush, contour shade.) Hopefully that will help guide me to some good shopping and matching methodology.

How do you shop for your season? What does and doesn't work? What do you still wish you could do better?
