I want to flesh out an RP where I get kicked out of my apartment, and so I have no choice but to move into your basement prison cell! We’d play as lifelong childhood best friends. We’ve pretty much shared life with each other, and now even moved across the country from our family and friends to go to the same college together!

We have different friendship groups so we live separately from each other. Me with some of my friends, and you on your own. When you first found your apartment, the landlord showed you a hidden quirk from the previous owner: a fully equipped, ultra secure, super maximum security prison cell! We spent many days laughing at the absurdity of it, but the rent was super cheap since everyone else was weirded out by the cell, so you moved into the 1 bed apartment upstairs!

Life is going well for us both, until one day my roommates suddenly kick me out with no notice. Having moved across the country, I have no options to stay with anyone, so I do what anyone would do and call you, my best friend, for help.

You’ll of course take me in as your roommate, there’s no question about it at all! However, your apartment is small and you won’t share a bed with me due to your need for privacy. Suddenly an idea pops into your head, there’s a bed in the cell downstairs, and there’s a toilet there as well, so why not sleep there?

There’s only one issue. The landlord mentioned that when the cell was designed, it had a security system built in where if any one of the (many) locks were not fully locked shut, there would be a loud constant alarm played across the entire apartment until the locks were closed. So you have no choice but to keep me locked in the cell! I know it’s either the cell, or homelessness, so I ultimately agree to try it out.

After a while, we both realise we love the new dynamic that’s being developed as a result of me moving into the cell, so you decide to take it further!

How would we decide to go further? Would I love it or would I push back?
