Apologies if this is the wrong place, but if anywhere is going to know this answer...
It's somehow come up in when I've been writing my latest 'Erotica' that I'm questioning Dopamine's relation to orgasm. I know if you get a full orgasm your brain gets Dopamine, but a ruined orgasm obviously feels a lot worse.
Does the ruined part stop the rush of Dopamine to the brain to cause this, or is there some other scientific reason for it to be worse?
I couldn't find any research on the science of a ruined orgasm, which isn't surprising...if any budding scientists have some spare time once the world is in a better place there's some untapped research there!
