Hello people of the good life! Ive been into reading for a relatively short time to medical circumstances but into femdom for a long time due to psychological circumstances. I'm nearing the end of the book I'm reading and I'm really looking for something fun to read next. I'd love to read something with either femdom themes, relationships or characters because I find it very compelling to my interests.
However what really makes this a hard quest for me is that I despise traditional romance novels and online erotica. Not with any objective authority to judge them as inferior. I subjectively find them not to my tastes in the most extreme way. Not to say I'm not a romantic person or dislike romance, rather it's the opposite.
Its just when you open literotica the story contains a bland male MC who gets lucky with a superhot girl with boobs the size of Jupiter but a waist smaller than a tooth pick who only serves the purpose of wish fulfillment of the male reader.
But when I look on Amazon for femdom romance novels it's stories about a bland female MC who gets lucky with a billionaire Playboy super handsome man who only serves the purpose of wish fulfillment of the female reader.
Again none of this is objectively bad, but I dont like stories about wishfulfillent and self inserting as the main character. It's the same reason I have the worst time with harem romance manga and anime because its always a bland male MC who only serves the wish fulfillment of the male reader self inserting as the bland MC.
Romance as a genre usually contains this heavy self inserting and wish fulfillment and I am usually of the opinion that the best romances are a side plot in a greater story. If the romance is the A plot it cant make too much progression or be resolved before the end of the story because else it would end the central conflict of the story. When romance is a B plot it can progress or be resolved because the success of the romance by definition doesnt have to be the end of the central conflict of the story.
So what I'd love to find are stories which aren't romance A plots. Contains some form of femdom/role reversal or female dominance in one of the relationships in the story and in general is a good work of fiction. This is a very precise query and I'm realistic about the chances of finding something like this. But if any other femdom readers would like to recommend a story within or outside of these criteria desires I'd be very interested. Also I'd be interested in hearing what to you makes for a good femdom work of fiction or a work of fiction containing femdom!
