I'm new to the FemDom life and need your advice please. I'm also new to Reddit so if you need to point me somewhere else that is good too.
I'm 49F and was blessed 😂 with herpes at the tender age of 19. It's now rarely a problem and I generally know if it's going to be ahead of time just from knowing my body. Full disclosure, I don't tell all of my partners in life. I'm not very sexually active at this point and I don't think I'm required to be that vulnerable if I'm not having a break out (as I wouldn't be having sex if I was) and they are probably casual partner.
When it comes to kink I feel more comfortable even feeling responsible to tell potential partners up front. I'm not ashamed of myself or my body. I had a connection with a potential sub and we were on a video call. He lived across the country and we were discussing me visiting. I was sorta going over some "housekeeping" things about my life, things to know about me should we enter a relationship and I said "and you should know I have herpes." I explained I'm happy to use a prescription everyday for it if I'm with someone that would be more comfortable with that but I don't currently as it hasn't even been an issue for years. The guy did a 180. He kinda became rude and it was clear he wanted to run me off without just being mature and saying it wasn't comfortable with it. Same happened with another potential after hours of hitting it off I told him and he seemed ok, he was in the medical field, and the next day he text and told me everything he told me was a lie and deleted his profile. Which funnily enough I actually don't believe. I think he had a problem with me having herpes and didn't just say it. 😂
How do you handle it/would want it to be communicated?! Thank you for your help!
