How to help him with subdrop?

Post Body

Hey all! I'd really appreciate some help because I'm super worried.

My sub and I have been in a online dynamic for a little over 2 weeks, both of us have some experience, communicate and actively try to learn together.

After out first session, I made sure to give him proper aftercare not only because I am aware of his past negative experiences, but because it's also what he deserves. He felt safe and good after and even the day after I put him to bed and he really liked it.

Yesterday he'd been anxious, but then felt better. Later we ended up having another session, and after the aftercare he said he was feeling sad.

Long story short, it didn't get better. We tried to talk but he shutdown, and after I was able to come through to him. I comforted him, and we spoke and he admitted he felt a little better. He even had a popsicle and we watched some videos of his favorite artist together.

Later I was feeling down, he was feeling better enough to talk and comforted me too. It was just a very emotionally intense day for the both of us.

Today after he woke up, he told me he still feels sad. We're both suspecting that this is a subdrop, because the session was intense and immediately after he just fell on this low for "no reason". He keeps saying he doesn't understand what's happening.

Any advices on how I can help him or what to do? I really care about him and I feel so sorry that he's feeling like this and I haven't been able to do much.

Thank you!!!
