I would like to know your perspective on how much your roles influence your worldview and social behavior.

As an ages old femdom enthusiast, I understand everyone is in it for their own reasons, with their own idea of what femdom means to them.

To me, it is borne out of an intense desire, perhaps even a need. Note that I [M] identify as a Switch which means these strong desires lead me to both ends of the D/s spectrum.

Whatever role I take, my view is that both the participants in the scene are equals who take on roles, that help us both to fulfill our desires. The roles do not define us. Everything can be challenged, everything can be discussed, nothing is permanent.

What is your opinion of it? Do you use your role to decide your status in the relationship? Something like, a sub is lesser and must not challenge their dom.

I have not been part of any FLR, so I don't know if the equal-as-humans basis holds in this relationship. If you are part of it, can you comment on this aspect? Does being in an FLR mean that the authority figure is not to be challenged? To the women leading FLRs, do you take offense, if your partner:

1. Asked for something
2. You denied it.
3. He elaborated on why he needs that something.

Do you see that as a form of coercion or topping from the bottom?

I ask these questions because I am seeing, experiencing, an expectation of inequality, esp. in personals. At first, I assumed the ads to be reflection of the poster's desires. Now I am not so sure*. It is possible that I just ran into bad apples or maybe my understanding needs an update.

*There is nothing wrong with people craving inequality. It is the arrogance and close-mindedness that concern me.
