Something that's been on my mind over breakfast this morning is the idea that fantasy = not real. And as much as some are unlikely to happen such as my fantasy of skydiving in a maid outfit feeding someone grapes from the vine like a greek goddess, people do end up trying some of their more "down to Earth" ones (sorry about the pun) with their partners.

So I'd like to ask you about any fantasies you actually ended up trying. What was good about it? Was anything aspects of it better in your head than in reality? It's a nice excuse to share some ideas too I feel :)

I'll start with an experience of my own. One fantasy of mine I had for years was the idea of having a toy controlled by someone whilst out in public. I bought a hush a few years ago as a valentines present (to myself) and I eventually got the opportunity to try it with someone. Some important things to know prior to this was that I was very used to this toy, I'd worn it plenty of times before and knew how my body reacts to it, how long I can wear it for before experiencing discomfort, and of course safewords in case. I think the overall experience was very positive, without going into too much detail the feeling of helplessness and lack of control felt very heightened. Trying to hold back reactions and just ending up blushing was definitely pretty interesting. When i think about what was different to how I imagined it in my head. The first thing I think about is that the "sexual pleasure" was very low. I was very focused on other things. For example internally (and also externally to her a few times) questioning if the vibrations were too loud? Was I acting too abnormally? Is it sitting comfortably in me? Is she enjoying it? This definitely is different from the mental image I had a bit, but maybe after multiple experiences these questions would subside and the experience gets enhanced.
