Do most people into kink not into monogamous relationships?

I just wanted to ask if most people into kink or femdom are not into monogamous relationships?

I find that whenever I mention monogamy it’s kind of a turn off for kinky women I have talked to in the past. I dated a Domme I knew for 6 years (we played together multiple times) for a little bit, and during our first date she even asked me “why is monogamy so important to you?” I said “because it builds intimacy and makes everything that we have together so much more special”.

Most times I mention to dominant women I want to date that I am looking for a monogamous bf/gf relationship they seem to loose interest. (And they seemed interested before)

Just wanted to know what experiences others have had.

EDIT: I didn’t mean poly people can’t develop intimacy I just meant that I need monogamy to develop intimacy.
