Nerd Dice Edging Game

Post Body

I just wanted to share this edging game than an old partner came up with. It’s really mean in the fun way, and we had a lot of fun with it.

To do it, you need a set of RPG dice, like you’d use for Dungeons and Dragons. That’s a d4, a d6, a d8, a d10, a d12, and a d20. Numbers refer to the number of faces on each die. They’re pretty easy to find if you don’t have any.

To start with, I would roll the d4 to decide which die I would roll my edges on. A 1 meant I rolled the d6, 2 meant d8, 3 meant d10, and 4 meant d12.

If I rolled a 1, that obviously wouldn’t be enough edges, so I’d edge as many times as there were sides on that die.

If I rolled a 2 or a 3, that’s also not enough, I have to roll again, and also jump to the next size up of die. So if I rolled a 2 with a d8, I’d have to roll again with a d10.

If I rolled a 4, I’d do 4 edges, but I’d have to squeeze my balls hard between each edge.

If I rolled 5 or higher, I’d do that many edges.

In addition, if I wanted some pain to center myself after all that edging, I could roll using the same system, and hit myself in the balls that many times.

I just wanted to share that because I love the game, and hopefully some of y’all will too.
