hello mods, and to everyone else reading this! happy monday, hope you're doing well.
this is a little unusual for what i usually post, but i've been noticing an uptick in certain posters. namely, sellers who are posting what can only be described as non-female orgasm denial oriented content, which is quite often bottom of the barrel hornyposting as advertising for their subscription based porn platforms.
let me make this clear: i have no issue with sellers. it's known as the oldest profession in the world for a reason. however, the kind of sellers i have in mind are the ones that are posting for the sake of views, are likely bots, and not to help curate and grow a sense of community based on this particular kink. there are some fantastic content creators who do genuine denial content that is very much welcome here, precisely because they focus on denial, or at the very least feature it in some of their content.
what i'm talking about is the average nude picture or video, coming from account after account with the generic autogenerated-from-reddit handles and variations of the same bio. the number of times i've seen "my bf cheated on me with a reddit girl so i'm on reddit now" on different accounts confirms any suspicion that this is likely not a human person. i've been reporting these posters as i see them under "don't get spammy," but it feels like "spam" doesn't quite cover this issue because they've only posted once on this sub. it's frustrating, it's annoying, and it detracts from the community as a whole.
what i am asking the mods is for an update to the rules - to consider a no-selling (not necessarily a no-seller) policy, which may or may not be feasible, as there are content creators who do focus on the denial stuff we like, and is somewhat covered already by rule #4 and #5.3, but we all know bots aren't gonna read the rules. furthermore, a good chunk of posters with content platforms in their bios who post here are active and valued participants of this community and should be supported as such. alternatively, i suggest an update to the rules which state that all content, including meta discussions, must be focused on female orgasm denial. make the rule focus on what content should be, not focus on what it shouldn't be - that way it's easier to differentiate between spam and actual content that contributes to the community at large. if the rules focus on what content shouldn't be, then we might miss some things that we don't want but that aren't technically listed as a no-no in the rules. we're going to get bots - it's inevitable at this stage of the internet's life cycle. what i would like to ask the mods is to make it easier to accurately report these bots and off-topic sellers so we can keep this community as on-topic and as safe as possible, and to monitor where these accounts look like and where they're coming from so we can keep an eye on them and learn to recognize bot from actual poster in the future. at the very least, we could make rule #5.3 (i.e. stay on topic) its own rule, since violations of this specific subrule are becoming more and more prevalent.
what i am asking for from the community is to report the bots, people!
lastly, i would like to thank the mods - this is one of the more actively moderated subs, and the team is far better about keeping this sub on topic and safe for its users than some of the other subs i've been a part of. i, and i am sure many others, are very much grateful for the otherwise thankless job you do as a mod. i promise i'm not trying to be antagonistic, nor am i trying to be presumptuous about how the mods do their jobs. however, i do believe that making bots easier to report via a change or an update in the rules would make the mod's job easier and help keep the community on topic. i'm posting this in public, because i don't quite know how modding works, and i'm sure others have something they might like to add.
all in all - thank you mods, for doing the job you do, and please forgive me if this sounds bitchy or whiny - i promise i'm not trying to sound like that 😅
p.s. just throwing this out there - i think user flairs would be neat. just for funzies, but that might be another topic for another day. sorry for the long post, thanks for reading, mwah! 😘
