New to the kink!

I’ve recently realized that this is a huge kink of mine, but it’s not something we’ve incorporated into our dynamic before. We’re in a long term M/f dynamic with a strong relationship and plenty of trust. Any advice on a good starting point? Would you start with a short period of time? Edging vs. no edging? Giving pleasure without receiving? Do you use denial as a ‘punishment’ or is it the general state within your dynamic? Thanks in advance!
