So I took 100mg of spironolactone for almost 3 months and it greatly reduced my shedding and I started to see regrowth. Not to mention I had the best skin on it. Unfortunately it have me heart palpitations where it would suddenly beat very fast for a while. Sometimes it would pound constantly and I could hear it beat, it was very uncomfortable and hard to sleep. It also gave me back pain? I don't know why because my potassium levels were totally normal. I stopped taking it but my hair loss has resumed.
How can I try again without these side effects? It's bizarre because a few years ago I took spironolactone for my skin (200mg) with zero side effects for my acne. I just stopped taking it because I was lazy.
So why did it affect me the second time around? What can I do to make it work for me? This pill was nothing short of a miracle for me. Please help!
