After reading through reviews and other forums, it's my understanding that minoxidil only works for as long as you use it...
I've seen several testimonials mention that when they stopped using minoxidil, the new growth fell out... making minoxidil a temporary solution.
So, it would seem that unless you address the underlying health cause behind your hair loss while on minoxidil (maybe except hereditary hair loss), new hair growth from minoxidil won't remain after you stop using it...
Can anyone confirm this from having used it themselves? Or any thoughts in general about my theory?
I still may try minoxidil but a better understanding of how it works will be really useful for me going forward.
