Things I miss before hair loss:
Post Body

  • Feeling confident
  • Feeling beautiful
  • Being happy (no depression/anxiety/stress)
  • Loving my hair
  • Getting my hair done
  • Doing cute hairstyles
  • Not caring if the wind blowed
  • Enjoying showers (used to be my favorite thing)
  • Pulling my hair back without bald spots showing
  • Being able to use any shampoo I wanted
  • Being able to brush my hair without feeling anxious
  • Not having to apply minoxidil every day and keep up with every other hair loss treatment I do
  • Not having to check the back of my head in the mirror before going out
  • Not analyzing everyone else’s hair in public/ comparing my hair to others
  • Not having to monitor my diet
  • Not taking 6,000 pictures of my hair to track progress
  • Not having to take a million supplements
  • Not fearing what could possibly cause a TE episode ( getting COVID, getting off BC, Stress, Starting/Stopping a medication)
  • Not having awful scalp sensations every day
  • Not having my hair be my every thought, even when I try to forget about it
  • Not googling every possible way to regrowth hair
  • Feeling normal
  • My old happy self

Just saying I feel for everyone on here❤️ This has been one h*ll of a year for me, especially being so young. I am sure many can relate! But I am very thankful for this group!
