Inspired by the lovely u/Shanntuckymuffin with her ongoing series of reviews!

Let me set the mood...

You’re in the waiting room at a very clean dental office.. maybe at an exceptionally clean hospital... ( you all know that smell... that sterile clean smell at medical offices ) overall, the walls are white. The chairs are white. The decorative table is clear glass with equally pale and suspiciously clean white and silver decor and there are a few other people in the waiting room with you.

The kid to your left is eating a massive bag of pink cotton candy, the woman to your right is eating a pint fresh strawberries, and the secretary has a mixed berry scented hand cream she was putting on while you were checking in, and you can still faintly pick it up since the smell got stuck in your nose.

The elegant woman in the pantsuit and stilettos across the room sternly speaking into her phone smells of violets and jasmine, and you can smell it ever so faintly lingering after she walked by you a few minutes ago.

You can smell that they’re trying to pump a clean, light, even airy, but slightly woodsy scent into the air at the medical office, but it’s too weak, much too faint, to overpower all those scents competing around you.

That’s what Burberry her smells like to me. That being said, it is an exceptionally well blended fragrance very liner on me, thought the initial blast of strawberry does settle down quite a bit and mingles beautifully with what I would describe as a “ office friendly “ version of warm cotton candy sweetness.. not cloyingly sweet! It’s just there to round things out a bit. I find this to be a very suitable “ grown up “ option if you’re trying to find something more “ grown up “ while still being gourmand.

I would say you can wear this year round, though it can get a little bit cloying in the summer months.

My mother is a VERY picky woman who hates HATES gourmands... in fact she hates MOST modern perfumery lmao prefers “ older “ fragrances ( Elizabeth Taylor white diamonds, Oscar by Oscar de Le Renta, Boucheron by Boucheron, etc ) always gives me compliments when I go see her and am wearing this one, which says a lot considering how picky she is about fragrances lol

My fiancé doesn’t love nor hate this, he just finds it to be a pleasant scent.

MY opinion now! Haha

This is one of my top 5 fragrances of all time! I get around 5 or 6 hours of arms length sillage out of this fragrance, at around which time I do reapply or spray on something else. Otherwise I can get around 8 or 9 hours if you are okay with it sitting very close to the skin for the second half of wear time.

I’m currently on my second bottle of this beautiful gem, and considering the size of my collection, that speaks volumes!
