Hey all, I joined this page because I am facing a charge of 487(d)(2) Grand theft and I want to hear your opinions on what I could be facing. My lawyer put together a mitigation package that contains around 30 letters of good character, a shoplifters course and some volunteer hours. I am a first time offender, no priors

What can I expect if I am granted probation? I have a job that does background check’s yearly… so is there any chance If I get a year probation, apply for early termination and get an expungement? Is that a realistic goal? All perspectives and opinions are appreciated.
