Hi all! I just installed Fedora 35 as my main OS. Just now I also finished installing some of the apps I use for work, and this error kept popping up every time I open and close them
Execution of "xprop" failed.
Command not found.
This pops up as a notification. Now, after looking it up online, I found out that this is x11-related and since Fedora uses Wayland, it makes sense to me that xprop would be missing. But is there a way to make the pop up notification stop showing up every time I open apps? Affected applications include Visual Studio Code, Telegram (Flatpak), Zoom (Flatpak), and Spotify.
Many thanks in advance! :)
UPDATE: I solved this problem by installing xprop
:
sudo dnf install xprop
