Novice seeks help with handling multiple drives
Post Body

Oh ancient, and mighty powerful fedora wizards of the internet

I need some help...

I am a complete novice at fedoa

So here is the situation,

Im building a computer with two ssd drives, SSD 01 will have the main OS, and SSD 02 I would like to have everything else, downloaded programs, files, ect. So when I download stuff from the software manager it will download to SSD 02

I want to have the OS and everything else separated completely

Mainly because if anything happens to one then the other wont be affected

I have done some research and from what Ive found it seems that what I need to do is "mount my SSD 02 as my users home directory" then copy my current home directory to the new home directory using the "rsync"command

Does that sound about right?

or am I completely off the mark?

if I'm on the right path, how do I do that? what are the commands?

Thank you for your time
