Any other stations getting ready for peak?

Stationed in socal and this week my station started receiving a fresh load of new rentals. Besides that iv been seeing some new bodies coming in for interviews and watching there training videos in the computer room. When I asked one of them what position they were applying for most said "seasonal courier" while a few said handlers. Management said there not going to hire alot like previous years but just enough to help during peak. Just curious if any other stations are preparing for peak?
