Swing driver full time and was just wondering if express has any rules to calling off since iv noticed a couple drivers call off twice a week or once every week. I'm assuming it depends on your station and management as my manager seems to not really care and even gives drivers a day off during the week especially if volume is low. Being a swing has made me realize just how often some drivers call off since me or the other swings have to cover for them. Which is good and bad depending on the route. Today the manager offered me the day off and took it since I been covering the heavy routes this week. Volume has been low to average this week but heavy on pu.
