So, my personal computer I shipped to Ireland when I was moving here, but issues arose, and it's supposed to be returned to sender, but this cannot happen apparently because they need to charge me for it (again), and they need an account number. Problem is, when I use the FedEx website to create an account number, I am just getting this error:
FedEx Online Account Registration is not able to process your request at this time. Please call 1.800.463.3339 and ask for "new account setup" to connect with a new account customer service representative.
I can't call that number, as I only have my Irish phone number as of right now. I have been calling the UK/IE help line (1800 535 800), and have called now 12 times, and sometimes people try to transfer me elsewhere, sometimes I get someone who tells me they cannot create account numbers over the phone, and most of the time they transfer me to technical support, where I keep getting hung up on. I've tried emailing them, but get no responses there either, and the agent in IE-Clearance has completely stopped replying to my emails as well.
I tried to use the UK version of the site to create an account, but that doesn't work, because there is no US option, and I only have a US credit/debit card. When trying there, it says that it was unable to authorize the transaction.
I don't know what to do at this point. At this point, I have already given Fedex $1400 for this, and now they have pretty much stolen my computer and monitor. This is nearly $3000 worth of gear, and I have no way of getting it back.
Can anyone help me figure out what to do now?
